THE BIZARRE MOVIE REVIEWER
                                                            TERRY GILLIAM SECTION

Terry Gilliam is another of my favorite directors.  His films are not only surreal, but also a lot of fun, loaded with great images and interesting camerawork, not to mention great set design. They are also loaded with great ideas and very acute observations on society, as well as excellent parodies of just about anything.  An the other hand, they feel like if you were inside the mind of a severe schizophrenic... on acid... Other than the films listed, former Monty Python member Gilliam (the only American member) has done the award winning drama The Fisher King and the excellent sci-fi film 12 Monkeys, both worth checking out.
